Hacking 3ds as switch controller

I don't know if this has been spoken about yet. But both my switch and n3dsxl run custom firmware with homebrew. I am wondering if anyone had made a way to use the 3ds as a controller or if anyone is in the middle of doing it. I know it was possible on the Wii U. Thanks guys.

Yeah it was possible on the Wii U. Just wondering if anyone has done it on the switch yet. Cheaper to use 3ds as a controller than buy more.

somebody could probably port the linux version of this (https://gbatemp.net/threads/3ds-controller.375443/) for the switch. It probably would need to be a sysmodule to work in games tho
