Hacking 3D turning off

Hi,

I have a weird problem, I did a search but couldnt find anything.

I am using a O3DS running luma3ds and A9LH.

I started playing omega ruby cia and during the load game screen and during gameplay the 3d turns off, the green 3d icon turns off.

I have tried shutting the 3ds and opening it and its still off, if I press the home button the 3d comes back on.

I am going to try another source but just thought it was strange, any ideas.

It only works in certain areas and in battles.

That's just how the Pokemon games work, it even says so in all the trailers and probably in the manual too.

Oh i see now! I thought he meant the system shuts off. Not the 3d function in the game, sorry

I needed to be clearify of what the heck he means.

Yeah not every part of the game will be in 3d, just some of it..... for whatever reason.

Oh ok, it must be different on the n3ds xl as the game plays in 3d on that.

I might be wrong though.

Makes me wonder if Sun/Moon will make use of the 'New' model's hardware and allow 3D throughout the game

Im sure we will find out, at first I thought there was something wrong with my 3ds, never thought it could actually be a feature of the game, not come across it before.

Some games will only turn 3d on in certain parts of the game. Pokemon XY will only run in 3d during battle sequences afaik, and I believe ORAS is the same way with maybe a few additional things in 3d as well.

SSFIV 3D does that too. some parts are 2d only.
