Just tried it out. I must say, this is brilliant. They should do this advertisement like this, for people who own a 3DS. But I honestly can't wait for the game to be released. I've already pre-ordered it.

Nintendo uses the 3D pretty well in their games. I hate when it's so subtle.. I mean the depth slider is there for a reason right (and for some reason we can adjust the maximum 3D depth in the options too hmm?)? I put down a 25er for this the other month (free gift card) and gon pay it off when I get another gift card from doing dat dere surveys.

Thanks for this link! Don't think I would have found it otherwise and it looks awesome on my 3DS. And thanks to my ~2 weeks of Japanese class, I can read the letters on some of this! Like the picture that is in 1st person where Mario is looking through some binoculars, it says "Zoom Out" for the [L] button and "Zoom In" for the [R] button.

And it seems that 3D does play a role, gameplay-wise. In one of the levels (shown in the images), you have to turn the 3D on and off to see whether a platform is connected (so you can walk on it) or separate. I'm glad that it's actually being put to good use.
