Hi, is it only my 3DS or the 3D slider is a little "too hard" to move up and down? I noticed this problem on two different 3DS I tried in shop but another friend of mine doesn't have this problem on his 3DS and the 3D slider is just as smooth to move as the volume slider. What about your 3DS?

All these scarce problems which may not be a problem.

Try breaking it in. (Use it a little more.)

It's not a real problem and I'm not going to replace it because I was pretty lucky and my unit is perfect otherwise (0 dead/stuck pixels and that's more important for me). But the 3D slider is really a little too hard on my 3DS, not smooth at all...

I'd say it's actually a good thing.

If it's harder to move, you can adjust the depth with more accuracy.

Just slide it a bit. Over time it'll loosen up and slide a bit easier. On the bright side, if you accidentally brush it with your hand (somehow) it won't slide out of place!

Mine's pretty loose and rattles around when I shake the 3DS, although it doesn't move up and down, just side to side.

Yeah and this is what I hate most about the 3DS (which is otherwise a great console): the build quality. Considering how expansive a 3DS is Nintendo could do a lot more about this... And only God knows why they choosed to use again those damn sliders (volume, 3D depth) and not the much better + and - buttons seen on the DSi...

I think the build quality of the 3DS is actually the best work that Nintendo has done.

My 3DS feels really solid and well-built. I could throw it at a wall, and the wall would explode.
