The Xbox One is now capable of offering true backward compatibility.
Recently with all the hype surrounding the "fake" backwards compatibility offered by the PS4
which is a farce of connecting you to a remote ps1/ps2/ps3 in japan.

This got me thinking - so if the Xbox One has an entire 360MODE inside
could it be manipulated to play not just 104 titles but all??

Why? You may ask what is the point.
#Bring new 360 titles to the Xbox quicker than MS
#Challenge to re explore ROM Injection
#360MODE is complete, all the hard work of emulation is done
#True backward compatibility
#A chance to bring in old faces from the Xbox scene and Wii commun

Also to discuss possibilities of this and whether this is actually possible.
Personally I'm very new to any kind of coding so this is beyond me.
Looking forward to hearing any new ideas :))

Probably won't happen without an exploit, and Microsoft has pretty good security on their consoles.

It isn't even a wrapper. Parts of each games code is ported from the 360 to the xbox one. This eliminates the need to emulate the xbox 360 completely.
If what you're saying is true then ISO/ROM injection would never work. I wouldnt be surprised if m$ went as far as to port each title to the new console instead of using emulation, considering how easy playing backups on the original 360 was. Basically if you can connect a SATA drive and use Google, you can play backups on the 360 XD.

360 games are ported towards the One.
One needs to download the entire game.

If it was pure emulation, you could stick in a 360 game and it'll read fine.

In short, unless the Xbone is hacked and piracy is rampant, pirating 360 games on the One isn't going to happen.

We have known since the announcement at e3 they are partial ports. That's why microsoft has to get permission before games are added. Cause they are replacing parts of the xbox 360's code with the xbox one's. This way the "virtual 360" needs to emulate less hardware. Major Nelson was the one to start posting about it on few sites. I don't see any reason why he would lie. Then their are people on several sites who managed to compare the codes accordingly. So I am 99.9% sure the partial porting is right
