ROM Hack 358/2 days help

I hex edited the clean rom by xenophobia and I am able to get past the opening scene but when it gets to Day 7 and Roxas gets of the bed, it just hangs at the loading screen. Any help?

Oh, and I'm using an R4i.

There is a version of the R4i that this game simply isn't working on at the moment (patched or not), it hangs at the end of cut scenes (just before in game).

I have the same one (R4i, from r4ultra.com). Hoping someone comes up with a fix, all I know is if you use the Japanese rom with the partial translation it'll work. So the translation fixes something, somehow.

I've ordered an Acekard now, but would still like to figure this out for the R4i.

You could give YSMenu with DSTT v1.17a07 a shot...

which R4i are you using? I have an R4i Gold and through YSmenu i got this error also. After about 3 hours of messing with files I couldnt get it to work and am returning the R4i and ordered an Acekard2i. I dont think you can successfully get an R4i to run YSmenu.

Since the R4i is a DSTT clone, it should work... possibly using just the DSTT 1.17a07 firmware.

Don't see how with a updated AKAIO Acekard it should work without patching...

Soutenstyle: Your ROM is probably patched, try a different one like ESPLANDS.
