Hardware 300 app/game limit

I read somewhere that the 3DS has a 300 app/game limit. (Not that I'm going to get there but) Does this include EVERYTHING or just 3DS games?

i.e. is this 3DS games, VC and DSiWare stuff or just some combination?

Yeah, it's for all titles that show up on the HOME Menu.

From everything I'm reading the answer is no to both.

You could always buy a second 3DS
3DS #1: A-M
3DS #2: N-Z

You can install 300 gba/dsi/nes roms to your sysnand and 300 3ds roms to your emunand

You can have two sd cards with emunand 1 sd card => 300 games; 2 sd card => 300 games

No unless someone does a .3ds rom redirector to sd. Which I am surprised to see that it hasn't come up yet. Apparently this is trivial to do so (IIRC) and it would allow for people to decrypt .sav which is what I'm after.

I think the testmenu does not have this limit.
