Hacking 3.2 vs 3.3

I notice a lot of the members here stay using 3.2 on the Wii. Why is this?

I'm on 3.3U, which I believe is the very last version before the recent 3.4 update, and all homebrew works that I've tested thus far.

Is there a truly optimal reasoning behind staying with 3.2?

The new update is still a 3.3, so any of us who are still on 3.2 can't update unless we want all the signing bugs to be gone. Besides, as far as I know, as long as you have the proper IOS's, the system menu doesn't matter too much.

Starfall a rehab app for your Wii in case of brick, only works on 3.2, and the action replay only works on 3.2 and some version of GeckOS also, only works on 3.2, I have 3.3v2 fixed thanks to Waninkoko, and maybe I will downgrade to 3.2

Having 3.2E, with the shop channel + patched IOS51. Everything works just the way I want it to work. (Including custom Guitar Hero's.

Has anyone downgraded from the latest 3.3U (update JUST before most recent 3.4) with IOS51 & Shop Channel Update already installed successfully?

If yes, is there a preferred method of doing so? i.e. AnyRegion Changer v1.1 or cIOS Downgrader v1.2

damn, it's not 3.4 its still 3.3. call it 3.3v2 or v3 is the best way in my opinion. in my opinion cios downgrader on 3.3v1 should work, even if the new shopping channel and ios51 is already installed.

just wanted to let you guys know, the newest update should be called 3.3v3, not v2, the update the other day was the second "small" (subjective term) update to 3.3, not the first.

And also, there's another big thread on the forums here called "Wii Update: 3.3U Out" when that can't even be true to the version number because I had 3.3U installed before that fakesigning fix update was released from Nintendo.

Anyone know if I can play Wii Music without doing the 3.3 update? I think I am on 3.1 or 3.2 and whenever I try Wii Music I get disc read errors when I go to "jam". The tutorial and other parts of the game work.
