I don't think 3.0 has a working DS Profile exploit and it is missing the browser maybe. Does the browser on it work without asking you to update? Your best bet is to find a game to update to 4.5 first. Even without the browser, the DS profile exploit will work. Then you can just install the browser using DevMan 6.2 if you download it from UpdateCDN/3DNUS.
