Hacking 2GB microSD and Castlevania:PoR

Hi all.

Sorry if this has been answered; most of the replies I've seen say "works fine apart from POR"
Do any of the 2GB microSD cards on the market work without freezing PoR? I'd rather not have to patch the sound out to be able to play it.

I heard that Patriot 2GB cards work. I'll be using an R4 if that makes a difference.

I think no matter what card/cart combo you get you will inevitably happen upon some minor freezing in certain "trouble spots" in PoR like teleport chambers.

Its really not that bad and completely playable, just make sure you save often.

Sorry if I sound annoying to you but it seems there arn't any 2GB Micro Sd Cards that can play CastlevaniaoR without any freezing or slow down.. here is the compatibility thread..-Hope this help Click Here

Unconfirmed. There are reports of crashes and of no crashes. I guess it's one of the safer cards to use (out of the 2GB range). Can anybody who has both a Patriot and Sandisk regular 2GB test speed and access times with the same reader?

well, i can't speak for other cards, but with the EZV, my 2GB Ridata card works fine with hybrid mode on in the options.

No doubt this is because of the EZV's hybrid mode and not the card's speed.

The R4 compatibility list says the new Toshiba 2GB is perfect.
