I have everything I needed for homebrew on the 2ds...I read online on the 3ds guide that the guide also works on the 2ds. I have one question. I boot up Download and Play on 2ds and am able to get into Rosalina menu but cant open up the homebrew launcher. End up getting a crash screen instead of Homebrew Launcher. What am I doing wrong? FYI Firmware on it is 11.12.0-44U.

just tried it, didnt do anything...

thought if I put the boot.3dsx file into the 3ds folder it might work, but no dice.

thought maybe I needed to update system so did that, now I got 11.13 fw. am I screwed?

From previous 3DS firmware updates, the seedminer methods are usually updated within a 1 or 2 days on 3ds.hacks.guide.
If you're hacking by ntrboot method using a compatible DS flashcart, then you're not restricted by the firmware update.

cool. thanks!

appreciate the feedback!

I would appreciate someone posting on this thread when update has been hacked. I don't want to keep going to the site and trying over and over.

do I need to restart process over?
I'm not entirely sure. Retracing your steps through the guide is never a bad idea though. If you can't find where you went wrong, I would recommend just redoing the process from the "Finalizing Setup" page. If THAT doesn't work, just redo the whole process.
