Hardware 2ds Complete Teardown and Customize - Backplate's stripe

Hello tempers, today i bought myself a 2ds for the issue my old 2ds had which was the screen broke. I just change the motherboard of the old one and put it in the 2ds i bought. Then I thought what if i make it all BLUE since i got the old 2ds and the new recolored 2ds. It was possible to make it all blue but, one thing still bother my mind and its the damn black stripe on the recolored 2ds. I want to remove it but scared to break that stripe since idk how to. I wanted to shove a blue stripe to make it "ALL BLUE". Please help my satisfaction

if I remember correctly, you have to fully remove back cover and it should just pop out. Maybe I am wrong (it is like 2 months since my last 2ds hardmod)
