Know Your Temps Info

For those of you that are new to the game, here are the rules:

- One user will be put on the questioning stand every two days (or so)

- Once that user's session of questioning starts, anybody can ask that user a reasonable amount of questions they want via posting on the thread

- These questions can be about anything. Personal life, GBAtemp/internet life, pet peeves, musical tastes, "what if" situations... ANYTHING!

- Please try to post all your questions at once, in one solid post

- Upon receiving questions, the user that is in the spotlight can answer them at anytime, as long as it's before their time is up

This quirky little activity will help us get to know our fellow 'tempers even better in an exciting, chaotic manner! Those who have an upcoming KYT session will be notified about their upcoming session via PM.

How have you been recently? Fine, A little tired too

(I'm in holidays and going to bed later than usual)
What do you think of me? The few I remember, you help users, so I like you
What is your opinion of the Harry Potter series? I only saw the 3 first movies, I was reluctant at first, but it's ok. I don't feel like all these teens which need to read all of it.
What was your first video game? I don't know if that count as video game, it was on a Thomson TO-7, a "move the turtle" software programming language (LOGO) to draw, or also a point & click story using the pointing stylus device. (I was like 6-7 years old, at school, part of a national informatics educational program)
Books or E-books? Books, I prefer the feeling of the paper, than reader on screen.
Jak or Ratchet? I never played that game. Wasn't Clank instead of Jak ?
Can you tell me how to get, how to get to sesame street? no

Black or White? depend for what. for computer: Black background and themes, it's less hurting my eyes when I'm using the computer late at night
What is your favourite book at the moment? I don't read a lot recently, here are two all time favourite series : Middle earth (LOTR, silmarillion, etc.), and Earth Children, from Jean M. Auel. The story takes place in prehistoric period, in Europe. An homo-sapient Orphan baby girl is raised by a primitive clan. Last one will be release in 2011.
Favourite movie at the moment? same, I don't watch a lot of movie, old favourite one : Brave heart
Favourite Video Game at the moment? Picross DS
Do you fear the Night Mares? no, but I didn't have any recently.
What is your favourite flavour of Jello? I don't like that. It feels like hospital jelly

What do you study at school? school has ended long time ago for me. I was in electronics, and then network analysis.
Which job are you aiming for? I'm already working. But it' not the job I aimed for. I wanted to be a developer, then working in informatics, and now I'm working in an office to create ID card, Passport, Car certificate and Driving licence. I see a lot of people from around my town.
How did you find out about the scene? my neighbor had a Super Pro Fighter II (Snes copier), back in 1995. then at school we started trading roms and emulators (which didn't had sound or alpha-blending (transparency over layers)). don't forget, Internet wasn't as popular as today, and not a lot of people had it. They used more "BBS" (private internet providers) ... well in fact there weren't any company providers at that time, you had to pay your phone billing for using special numbers.

You're right about the copy/paste, I forgot to edit the questions a bit. I was serious about the username question though, I'm pretty sure it's just the colour, but you never know

My username is from a main character in Final Fantasy 6, it's a lonely and sad character who try to help other people in secret, he is intrigued with new technology and is learning it in secret too

I think it suit me pretty well, except that I don't make it a secret.

Retort: respond to troll with troll message
Slash: not tested yet
Quadra slam: ability to mass edit and cut my own posts over and over until it's perfect (You will notice, almost all my posts are edited)
Empowerer: set the message visually interesting using quote, bold, smilies, etc.
Stunner: Demonstrate that I'm right by giving informations/pics/sources, forcing others to accept the fact.
Quadra slice: same as Quadra slam, with even more edits
Cleave: makes a comment so bad that it provides instant death to the topic and nobody will comment ever again

It has always been difficult to get along with people, as I was sensitive when being a child, I became shy to prevent any hurting situations with others.
I don't know if I answered your question correctly, I feel like I didn't answer it fully. feel free to ask again for more info.
Is life generally unfair? Life is unfair for everyone, nobody has the same possibilities to achieve what they want. Mostly in the learning process, school needs money, lot of money.
Do you have a pet? If not, why not? If so what sort? (and what is it called) I don't have one, I don't feel the need. first I don't see the need to give/take affection to an animal, and second I won't have time to take care of it.
It's like I don't care enough of others, that may be my problem to relationship too.

if it's : do you live in a city or outside ? : I'm a city person
if it's about the city/country opinion (as in the world) : Well, I like my city for it being a nice place to live (see/mountain etc.), but they are both (city and country) politically bad. My city doesn't care for their citizen, only for rich people and foreigners which bring money.

Isn't the Kinect silly? It could be used for better things than racing games, dancing and Wii-ripping idea games. I liked the demo where the player could interact with the girl near the fishing pool.

Actually I stopped learning it (for few reasons,
first : time consuming, and I didn't train enough. I needed more time if I wanted to continue at my current level. I was more on internet/video/gaming/chatting than learning violin :/
second, linked to the first one, people argued "why do you learn, you never play ! you should stop !" .. yeah, I did;
and finally : the school/conservatory only understand classical music, "video game ? that sort of 20 years old style bip-bop sound? anime music ? japan ? no there's no compositor in japan, all compositors are DEAD for sure, Mozart, Beethoven .. see ? they are dead people !"
