Hacking 2319 - nihongo kentei ds - does not work with R4

This may be a game that many of you are not interested in (unless you are studying Japanese) but despite it saying that 2319 - nihongo kentei ds is compatible with the r4ds on wiki, it does not work. When you load it, it says "was not able to read card, please reinsert the card"

Is there something i can do about this?
