2 years hosting $11

I bought this earlier today. On Dreamhost.com they're offering their 2 years hosting (normally over $200) and a free domain for $11 if you enter the promo code of "202".

On the front page they offer a 10% off deal if you enter another promo code but if you enter 202 you get it for only $11! When signing up choose their "2 years" don't sign up for anything else except for a domain and enter 202 near the bottom.

I'm going to use it as a file server. Apparently the deal ends tonight.

I make a website and eventually forget about it, so it would be a waste of money.

I don't get why this isn't as popular as when everyone got those free GoDaddy domain names- we're not even getting spam mail this time. I mean, 11 bucks is practically nothing, especially for what you're getting.

Just a heads up, I'm pretty sure that using their web hosting as a file sever is against their Terms of Service, just a heads up.

A few hours ago they nerfed the deal down to $20. Naturally I couldn't get through until then ^^; However, it's still a pretty decent deal.

just a heads up, dreamhost are terrible oversellers, your website will slow to a horrible crawl before you even get close to using the bandwidth you are supposed to have.
