So basically I want to talk about Flash Haxing. So did you know that you can download Homebrew Channel without Letterbomb? Well, you can use flash hax. Here is the guide: Second program that you can download is called Wimmfi. Wimmfi is basically Mario Kart Wii with multiplayer support (Nintendo WFC)

Glad there is more ways to install homebrew. Browsers are my favorite to minimize use of other tools. :P

As for the wii mmf thingy, didn't know it was possible to play wii games online still. Not that I want to cause well not all of them play well. But that's nice too. Too bad the only game I have with online is Smash bros brawl, but who would wanna play that now? I would be happy if I can get riivolution to work again to play brawl minus. :ninja:

I guess, just lost interest in it since it wasn't a great experience and lack of games using it. Only mario kart wii was the game everyone play online and that got boring when people cheat.

Kinda wish NDS had wifi, play some sonic rush or mega man starforce :)
but it's 2018, modern routers don't even allow use of the outdated password protection that system had, you would have to unlock your router to even use the thing online, and that usb wireless adaptor doesn't work on any os besides xp i think

Yeah it's very unfortunate.

I think WPA2 support is going to be possible soon, though. At least that's what i've heard.

Wii games work with both wiimmfi and altwfc which usbloader gx supports both. If you are willing to set super smash bros brawl up to run as project m, people still play that somewhat.

With mario kart wii you can play either the original mario kart wii online or ctgp/custom track grand prix but that requires owning the original disc of the game. Don't blame you for not wanting to play due to cheaters though. I wanted to play other wii games online too but it seems that most people only want to play mario kart wii online despite there being lots of wii games with online support.

Not only that but there the online experience wasn't that good for Nintendo's first online console except mario kart. Almost as if that game is the only one that actually was capable of their coding. (there may be others but I don't know so I won't say)

I know about project m, people still don't stop talking about it. But I never tried it cause I never could figure out how to get riivolution to work. The last time I used it was when i found out you can play mods from a server. The game disc get's patched as you play the game but it's on a hosted network server that I never had to worry about since it's maintained by someone. It was fun way to try out mods for new super mario wii and brawl minus. But that was years ago. :P

But it's still a fine generic USB wifi card ;)
I am not sure what to do with that thing. I bought it for my nintendo systems but without software is useless. I asked if anyone could maybe make software for it to be useful but now it's just a ancient relic. :P

Mario Kart is indeed an interesting series for its technical achievements...

DS: possibly the only game to have an easter egg on DS Lite and successors?

Wii: socially accepted motion controls in a traditionally non-motion game, excellent multiplayer (local and online), installable channel, Wii Mail notifications

3DS: one of the extremely few games where you can go back to Home (or close the console) during multiplayer and it stays connected, excellent multiplayer even on download play. And this was a rushed release to give ONE famous game to the then-disastrous 3DS!

@Sonic Angel Knight Wiimmfi also supports DS.

Correct me if i'm wrong, but Mario Kart DS had online play before Wii did. It came out first.
