long story short I updated both switches in household went from 5.1 to 6.1 via choidnujour nx both switches pretty much has the same games on it from the same source the problem is all my sons games work fine but pretty much all my games are asking for an update and won’t load even if you ignore it .. the only thing I did different on mine was format it again through the switch but wouldn’t have thought that would have mattered anyway What are my options tinfoil I would imagine never used it before so I guess I have some googling to do

Sounds like you loaded ofw with your sd card inserted. This will clean the nintendo folder of all non purchased titles. The only thing you can do is reinstall your nsp files.

You installed the xci files as if they were nsp rather then loading them through sxos menu? If so it would be the same as if they were nsp files. They will have to be reinstalled.

I loaded them through sxos just simply dragged them off my computer and placed them on my sd root now pretty much when I go to launch every game through the album folder it wants

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

I think I worked it out I updated the games on both switches that weren’t banned at the time and now they are both banned . I could be wrong but Nintendo’s official game updates resides on the sd card and because I formatted sd card I lost all game updates and now I am obviously banned I can’t just go and update the easy way

Did you update your games on OFW or CFW?

Exactly.. You will either have to go through the system and remove the update tickets manually or reinstall all of your updates from nsp files or the games will not launch. Nsp updates can be found on the internet for download, you just have to know where to look.
Look where there is no light!
