Hacking 2.1.0-4u firmware

Hi I have version 2.1.0-4u on my 3ds and now I cant use my r4i-sdhc 3ds card. I got a hold of an older ds the ds lite from my friend to upgrade from gbatemp's faq http://gbatemp.net/t297140-3ds-updates- ... arts-a-faq but when I load it it gives me an error saying that the udate is for the r4i-sdhc 3ds but I do have that card. I also tried upgrading on the card's wifi engine but the weird thing is the upgrade made my card from kernel 1.43 to 1.42 please help soon because I would have to return the ds I borrowed. Thank you

it might be a clone or fake

there are so many 4r(r4i) clones and fake, that you might have one

Are you sure because it was working perfectly fine before I updated my 3ds

Im really sorry for bumping so fast but I really need to return the ds light I borrowed from my friend soon so any replies would really help me thank you.

Download the corresponding one to your card and when you replace the files go to the settings in the card and pick update and update it

also the older cards can be updated as well and they work with the 3ds

ok thanks. now I bought a dstwo card from gameplayfun. I want to ask 2 things.
1. Does gameplayfun sell clone or fake dstwos ( I don't think there are fake dstwos but just to be sure)
2. Should I have bought an acecard instead?

On the old ds that can run the r4-sdhc 3ds it shows that the kernel is 1.43b so I know it's the latest kernel. But I can't run it on my 3ds it says An error has occured please turn the power off and refer to the operations manual

I've never seen fake DS two's.
Ak2i are nice cards, but your DS two will make you happy and keep you from bumping.
