Hi guys,

I followed the WiiUHacks Haxchi guide last night, I purchased Brain Training from the eShop etc, followed the install guide to the letter and all seemed well.

I've woke up this morning and intended to start transferring some ROM's but the homebrew launcher (anything homebrew related) throws up a 199-9999 Error and I have to restart. I can get it to run from the menu if I do the whole browser process again, but restarting throws it back to 199-9999. I haven't logged out of my newly created NNID or any of the common problems. I can run normal games, Sports etc, and launch/purchase in eShop so I'm assuming it's not bricked.

I've noticed that the Brain Training game is no longer in the menu - is that normal? In the eShop it says 'Purchased' with no option to download it. I've looked in data management and it's not there either - is it replaced by the Haxchi file?

I don't want to go too far and brick it, I'm assuming I've missed a step somewhere.

Any help is appreciated, got a few uni mates over this week so was looking forward to ruining them at Mario Kart.

Cheers

Yes the haxchi payload will replace the games icon because it's installed to it

I thought so! Makes sense.

Do you have any idea how I can safely remove Haxchi/the CFW completely so I can start again?

I've been looking for a solution through other people's issues all morning but I don't seem to have the same problem, it seems best if I start from scratch.

You have to launch the haxchi title first before launching anything, you should use ColdBoot, it's safe, don't worry

if you have haxchi, you can simply delete the game and redownload it. make sure it's a legit purchase or else the fake ticket in the nand will fail to install the game instantly after downloading.

if you're using cbhc, uninstall it first with the installer. then, delete the game, and reinstall haxchi/cbhc. it might be prudent to test the game out first before installing cbhc.
