16 player Mario Kart Double Dash! emulated

is it possible to emulate multiple gamecubes being connected together by LAN? I can do it on multiple computers if need be because I've seen multiple videos on it and a forum post on it but can't figure it and and not to mention the fact that these posts are like a decade old

I've tried doing DD LAN with Nintendon't and Dolphin (just 2 systems) just recently. It was a horrible laggy mess that eventually timed out after starting the match.

16 instances of Dolphin sounds like a horrible time and won't work very well.

well actually only 8 instances of dolphin are needed because 2 players can go on each. even though you had problems I would like try it for myself because maybe the communications between the Wii and the computer were finnicky, I don't know I feel like having 2 or more dolphin instances would work a lot better than a Wii and a dolphin instance

Sounds like your internet isn’t up to snuff or a configuration issue

My buddies and I play double dash and Mario party without any issue. Both over wifi and Lan
