Which groups are he referring to? Is this related to GBA-scene?

you can trim this to save an extra 700KB, so this game's 3.35MB, which is quite little considering that there are 256MBit games released now

Yay! First post!

Cool R-Type. Really brings back some memories, although I probably still wont be able to beat it.

Oh no... simply no, I downloaded it, awaiting for a kickass remake, and then I get a shooter that have bad music and horrible speed... I prefer the Snes R-Type 3, much more exciting than this one =/

I'm so disappointed about what they managed to do with the wonderful music it had... ;_;

Oh May Gawd.

They changed the old great R-Type tune in the begining and other music stuff, and some graphics too.

Darn i didn't see that coming though.

But it still OK!

Yeah, I miss the cool Mode 7 scaling effects when you start the first stage on the SNES version.

Yay, been waiting for this one since before Christmas...cool. Yeah Gradius Generations is pretty good too. I really wish some proper vertical shooters were released for the GBA though (you could turn a normal GBA 90 degrees anti clockwise, lolz).

Yes, Phalanx is a lot better. They need to port that over.

With everything the same. Maybe a new level. But that's it.
