Hacking 11.6 to latest CFW

I have a n2dsxl with "Sys 11.6.0-39" cfw (luma v9.0).

What I really need to update to latest firmware? Just update Luma to 9.1 and then update firmware?

Yeah all you need to do is update to Luma 9.1 first, then do a regular system update

I was watching some tutorials that shows you need to update AL9H to B9S but I suppose that if I have Luma 9.0 I just have B9S.. Am I correct?

Yes, if you're already on 9.0, you have b9s
