5 - Golden Sun Home
4 - MOTHER (4?)

and you ? :)

I'm just going to list 10 3rd party titles I'd like to see make it to the Switch (that haven't yet been announced) that I believe are overall realistic to hope for. Since I'm not really worried about there being quality 1st and 2nd party titles, there obviously will be, only thing I'd say is they should definitely release a proper Metroid game and appease the fans that have been dying for a proper game in the vein of the Prime series.

1. Grand Theft Auto 5
2. Rocket League
3. Rune Factory 5 (I dunno if Rune Factory is ever going to have another entry or not, but if it does, it better come to the Switch)
4. Overwatch
5. Final Fantasy XV (I don't think this is gonna happen though, but I do think the Final Fantasy 7 Remake will be on the system)
6. Fallout 4
7. South Park: The Fractured But Whole (with Stick of Truth pack-in like the other systems are receiving)
8. Some sort of return for Mega Man: (a new original, X, or Battle Network game; any would be great)
9. A new Worms game, preferably in the traditional 2D format, but I'm also not opposed to them exploring the 3D format again.
10. Monster Hunter 5

My list

1. Continuation of an existing IP
2. Continuation of an existing IP
3. Continuation of an existing IP
4. Continuation of an existing IP
5. New Nintendo IP
6. New Nintendo IP
7. New Nintendo IP
8. 3rd Party/Indie exclusive
9. 3rd Party/Indie exclusive or sequel to existing franchise
10. No More Heroes 3

In no order or eve a full set

Pikmin
Metroid (something like prime but some space ship battles here and there, Online battles would be great too)
Paper Mario
A good FPS Battlefield or Ghost recon would be nice
Mario Party (something like 8 not like 9 or 10)
Pokemon (since the system is portable there needs to be a normal pokemon with a pokken tournament)
Something NEW
Fallout
Final Fantasy (but turn base like 7 not like 14)
etc...

:D

Really just looking for a mix of keeping the 1st part alive and adding 3rd party updated games.

Pretty much waiting to buy a Switch until No More Heroes 3 is out.

But other games I'd want to see on the Switch, or that I think would do well on the Switch system in some manner or another?
  • Since Alien: Covenant is coming, we already know Fox is going to want a game tie-in. That said, Alien: Isolation was a fantastic FPS; especially when you consider it was Creative Assembly's first foray into the genre, having come from a background of primarily RTS games. Now, here's my idea. Preferably, not a direct following of the movie... maybe a prequel, like Chronicles of Riddick on the Xbox, or Alien: Isolation more recently. TV mode fosters traditional FPS gameplay, then in tablet mode, it uses the gyros to go in a kind of augmented reality, and being able to use the touchscreen for solving puzzles and hacking microgames. If the switch could support like 5.1 headphones, then it would funnel the positional surround audio to your ears, to let you know just how close the Alien was to eating your face...
  • Since we're getting a proper No More Heroes, let's try to convince Platinum to grant a proper follow-up to MadWorld. I loved the Sin City aesthetic of the original, and the ridiculous gore~
  • Metroid franchise is long overdue for a return to form, especially after the miserably awful Other M and Federation Force. And WiiU never even so much as got a side game in the series. That needs to be remedied from Nintendo, post-haste. And Team Ninja needs to be banned from even approaching it.
  • Since nintendo wanted to play up the esports angle on the Switch, they need to lure in some big names. VALVe with CS:GO and TF2 (with updates) ? I guess the myriad of MOBAs could be made to work...?
  • Saint's Row V, please. I made the mistake of buying a 3DS early thinking that there was going to be a Saint's Row on the system. And yes, GTA gets the fame, but Saint's Row has been immensely more entertaining.
  • Almost forgot about South Park... yes, if they bring Fractured But Whole to the Switch, it really should also have Stick of Truth included for posterity and parity.
  • Mario Kart gets all the fame, but well... Sony has Gran Turismo (maybe); Microsoft has Forza... why not some kind of sim racing to debut on the Switch?
  • I am rather disappointed that I missed Pokken Tournament from not having a WiiU. It was an obviously good idea, and being able to be on a relatively mobile system enables far more pick-up-and-play options. But would the Switch even support something like an arcade stick for more core fighting games? :switch:
  • Though I do feel like the original Killer7 wrapped itself up nicely, I would still adore if there was a proper follow-up on a new system.

For games, I don't have much to say for the new console, but I would like Pokken to have a Switch version. I played that game a lot before I sold it after getting bored and moving on to other games like Sun/Moon and Don't Starve.

Also, I'm very happy for Splatoon getting a sequel, that's one game I'm hyped for aside from Mario Odessey.

Pokkén is a fun game but once I realised that the gameplay consisted of rock/paper/scissor it just became really stale and after two weeks I more or less played/completed whatever there was worth. Yep, there are online battles but that didn't really entice me to stick around like Mario Kart 8 for months and months.

Same here, but I loved the graphics though, they were pretty good.

And I agree, I also sold MK8 (I regret it now) but I played it nonstop back when I had it. I still remember buying the DLC that came with Animal Crossing characters and Link.

I have my copy of Mario Kart 8 up for sale elsewhere but no one has bought it yet. To me it doesn't make much sense owning Mario Kart 8 on the WiiU when the Switch will have the complete edition on physical format as well as new content too.

Karting with Splatoon Boy/Girl will be really good for a change and the Battle Mode will actually have battle stages! Jesus. It took Nintendo so long!

They should also put more main Pokemon games... I heard they are going to make a Pokemon called "Pokemon Stars" for the switch.

You guys already laughed at me, but I'm gonna say Dark Souls again. Dark Souls II: Scholar Of The First Sin would be a perfect addition to this system. Ad-hoc net invasions between players could be a hit.
