Go to Choose Theme menu while SD card is out and select Do not use a theme.

Boot with it removed and then select another theme. Reinsert your SD card and then you can reinstall menuhax.

Boot without SD card, select "Do not use a Theme", insert SD card.
Fixed.

9.9 downgraded, and got scared to death. 3DS home wasn't showing up and it was because I had automatic homemenuhax.
After removing SD home menu it showed up. Jesus.

No it wasn't hardmodded. It also tooks me 16 attemps to get sysupdater working.
