Hacking 1/2.h2w? Delete or no?

Does anyone know what these 1/2.h2w files are? I need space to move over my NAND backup and they take up 1.4/1.7gb of the SD, not sure I want to risk just deleting them, even if I backed them up.
 
Iirc theyre from a program to test for fake sd cards called h2testw. But check first.

They seem to be involved in a process that checks your sd card for errors. This guide https://github.com/majia67/3DS-ARM9LoaderHax-Guide/blob/master/_pages/F3-(Linux).md claims you can delete them after verification.

Do you remember doing anything like this? When did these files appear on your sd?
Ah! That's definitely it, I did run that, guess that's what "Write" was, thanks!
