DS #4492: Might & Magic - Clash of Heroes (USA)

I had the same problem you had whenever trying to get it to run in stealth mode, patched or unpatched. I was able to get it to run on Cyclo with the new firmware after patching it and holding Start while selecting it so that it runs without stealth mode enabled.

Hacking Guide: WD Passport Spindown Fix

Thanks for the tip, I managed to find one that helped me get my drive open and I was able to plug it into the computer. This is the message I'm getting when trying to run the command from the OP. C:\Program Files\hdparm>hdparm -S251 hdf hdf: setting standby to 251 (5 hours + 30 minutes)...

Hacking Guide: WD Passport Spindown Fix

Tried using HDDScan to set Idle Timer to 330min on my WD 500GB MyBook. Went in and played HotD: Overkill and I'm still getting the dancin' mutants so I'm guessing those settings won't stick. Is there any other way to access these settings via USB? I tried popping open the MyBook but there...

    Hacking GBA saves?

As far as I know, the Cyclo does not support soft-resetting in GBA games. You're either using a different cart or using software to launch the game rather than doing it straight from the GUI. Anyway, the Cyclo reads the SRAM on the slot-2 and writes it to the microSD after you shut down your...

    Hacking GBA saves?

Soft Reset? How are you soft resetting on the Cyclo if you're selecting the game directly from the GUI? And no, you don't have to make a folder or anything. I just got my Cyclo, updated it to the latest firmware (haven't made any other changes to it), and run GBA games straight from the GUI...

    Gaming DivX support?

That's probably something you should contact MS support about, I watch DivX/Xvid movies all the time without being connected to Live and I don't have a problem.

    Hacking EVERYTHING's NOT WORKING!!! 3.0U

It doesn't have anything to do with 3.0U. You either have a bad install, or a bad chip.

Hacking Modding a Wii worth it anymore?

Oh come on...like that's what you were gonna use it for. Don't make me lulz. There has never been a single person, in the history of the world, that has modded a console so that they can play legal backups of their own games...ever.

Hardware mod chips is illegal ?

There is no specific law targeting modchips in the U.S. However, according to the DMCA, any device which assists in the circumvention of a copy protection mechanism is illegal to own or sell. This is the law these people are using when they raid modchip sellers.

    Gaming ****Wii Firmware 3.0U****

YEAH! How dare they try to make money and protect their intellectual property!!! They should help us steal from them!

    Gaming ****Wii Firmware 3.0U****

That's a pretty enormous conclusion to jump to based off of a single report of a single type of chip not working after the update. There could be lots of other factors involved. Let's just try and chill out.

    Gaming ****Wii Firmware 3.0U****

Since all the chips work on the same general principle it seems highly unlikely that one chip would have problems where the others didn't. And since all the other chips are reported working just fine after the update I doubt Wiid would be any different. So far the only thing that has changed...

Anyone with a Cyclowiz that has updated try out one of the Cyclowiz firmware upgrade disks? Just curious.

Hacking Cyclowiz out of stock everywhere?

http://www.consolesource.com/ecomm/catalog...hip-p-2585.html That's where I bought my Cyclowiz from, they seem to still have them in stock. The only difference between Cyclowiz and Wiikey is that the Wiikey team doesn't give a flying crap about their customers, while Cyclowiz releases frequent...

Hardware The Wii Mod Chip best ?

There are, approximately, 800,000 threads with this exact same question. Maybe you should read one of them?

Hacking What's the difference between Cyclowiz v1 and v2?

Right. However, to update the Cyclowiz you need to have the Cyclowiz working in the first place so that the burnt upgrade DVD can be read by your Wii. If you have a D2B chipset, the v1 firmware for Cyclowiz will not work on your Wii, therefore, your Wii won't be able to read the upgrade disc...

Same. Still, it's nice that they're continuing to frequently update and fix problems.

Hacking Cyclowiz opens it doors to OpenSource

I have a Cyclowiz 3.0B. Are there any real benefits to putting WiiFree on there instead at this point?

Hacking Determining which Wii modchip I want

I have a Cyclowiz which also has all the features you mentioned and which I found very easy to install and use. Also has been proven fully DVD-upgradeable by an update which has already been released. I don't own any of the other modchips mentioned so I can't say if it's better or worse than...

Hacking will there be any homebrew for playing DVDs?

It's not about "some extra work," it costs a large amount of money to license the software to decrypt DVD movies from the MPAA. This cost would be passed to the consumer as a higher cost per console. Nintendo figured consumers would appreciate the lower price point versus having 8 DVD players...
