    That is surprising, my TV went through power cuts very often, and that never gave a dent to it, still working perfectly as of right now.

    It's a cheap ass Philips LCD TV from 2012 I got for Christmas and it survived 3 moves, and has been permanently turned ON since 2019 since the other TV I meant to use died before that one lol

    I wouldn't recommend Wembley Stadium. It was either the really bad acoustics or just really shitty sound mixing, which was only made worse when they went to the B stage for the second half. But it was over by half 10, mind you, it took us over an hour to get from the stadium to the tube station ... its litterally a 5 minute walk :/ And we left early, haha

    Absolutely great thanks. Not gonna lie, hasn't been on in a couple of months due to stuff going on right now. Little ralphy had a long illness and passed over the rainbow bridge on Friday. Wife got diagnosed with ADHD, I have my adhd assement in about an hour. And off to see my chemical romance tomorrow.. And lots of other stuff.

    Oh god no ! haha I had something intermittently connecting and disconnecting from my PC, Nothing showed up in event view, and Nirsoft app i cant remember the name of ... turned out to be the USB hub on my monitor ... which I never use

    My N-gage still works fine thanks, Just came time for a upgrade and 3 (network) had a shockingly shit array of phones this time around, So ended up with a Pixel 10 Pro

    It sucks how 3G is being phased out everywhere, it feels like the market is solely made up from smartphones and shady feature phones nowadays.

    Niche manufacturers I can note are Jolla with SailfishOS (it supports many Sony Xperias too), Sidephone and Punkt for minimal phones, and Unihertz for small phones (note that they had severe battery issues in the past).

    Pixel series is good because GrapheneOS supports them.

    @JuanMena 2027 - but yeah, spring in England is a pain in the arse and summer is even worse. Last week it got up to 35 °C - 38 °C in this room. Add on to the fact that British houses are not built to get rid of heat ... but to retain it

    Here's the inverse, houses can't retain heat, it's why, during winter, inside feels colder than outside.

    We've been having 32°C max daily since April, but nowhere near 35, at least not in the city that is.

    I already use Linux, just that my main rig is Windows, mainly because there are a handful of apps that can't run on Linux or in a VM. Should I have found an alternative ( or get off my ass and rewrite the app for Linux) i would have switched 20 years ago

    Not sure if I should switch back to Windows on my main machine, there's several apps that I'd like to use more without needing a VM. I'm not going to move immediately, I still have time to use Linux and think about my choices. My IBM ThinkPad will have Fedora or otherwise Arch; a friend created an ISO for me that is free of bloat, unfortunately it's Windows 11, though, and I'll have to make use of it because the hardware that I'm using is missing drivers for Windows 10, such as the wireless capabilities and chipset.

    @lightwo Before you ask, I'm not switching back to Windows entirely on my main machine, I'll still continue to use Fedora mainstream. If I were to install Windows, I'll do it as a dualboot setup. Should've worded that post better, to be honest.
