    The last 'Pizza video' I saw was by Little Caesars. When they said "We don't just serve pizza... We serve people", I nearly threw up.

    What's FAO? I use a burner PSN account, but allegedly no bans happen nowadays. Someone even claims to have listened to an official interview where a Sony intern said what amounts to "we don't care", but I can't find a source for that.

    Use a burner or even a real account, there are a couple of games which still have online connectivity!

    @diggeloid There are plugins for that, namely NoTrophyMsg and Netcheck Bypass, you didn't have to do that

    @DinohScene Use Moonshine plugin, that hides homebrew status presence, even though it looks like nobody got banned only for running homebrew to date
    Next Linux distro to try is cachyos

    SylverReZ What do you mean by NVIDIA Drivers are a bit finnicky to install on Fedora-based systems? I thought you just needed to install the third party repos which have them by default.

    @DragonMals
    I downloaded the drivers using wget, extracted them to the root, installed the 'nvidia-drm' module that is needed for the proprietary NVIDIA drivers and ran the installer script. What would've been much easier, that, if I realized at the time, I can just install 'akmod-nvidia' from the package manager.

    CachyOS is like Arch on easy mode. I'm sure you can tune most or all of the things it has pre-configured for performance, but if you're looking for convenience, that's it.

    I use it on my Deck as I couldn't be bothered to do a manual Arch/Artix install on a small screen, but I can endorse it as a decent beginner distro given that CachyOS Hello contains much of what you'd otherwise have to do manually.

    I've ordered the Ugreen DXP2800 as it was on offer. The plan is to buy 2xM.2 ssds and 2x HDDs. I want it to run Jellyfin of my blu ray rips, backup photos, roms, comics from humble bundle and legally acquired adult material. Will be holding off buying the storage for now while I assess how much I need and spreading the cost as this is going to cost several hundred quid.

    Consider retired enterprise drives as a cost saving option, though that supply flow has been absolutely decimated lately. I've been quite happy with WD/HGST helium drives, I've been running about a half dozen 14tb spinners for well over a year now with absolutely zero issues, and they had >50k hours on the clock when I got them

    That ugreen box looks pretty slick, and that N100 is a beast at video transcoding on plex, I imagine jellyfin can harness it as well but I haven't set that up yet.

    Linux Mint is a fine Distro on its own. First ones ive touched, and i have to say that its very pleasant, giving Windows users a taste of the spice of Linux sauce while providing an enviornment that we're familiar with. Fedora's Cinamon Fork I'd say is another excellent alternative to such.
