    I asked in the GBdev Discord server if anyone knew of any tools to brighten up color pallets for Gameboy Color games, and after analyzing the Zelda DX ROM I sent him, this dude just cranks out this amazing Python script from scratch, like it was nothing. (I wanted to desaturate the colors for GBC accuracy.)

    Far too long, my friend... I beat the game's single player on release day in one brutal sitting, and I've been trying to beat this last kettle ever since. Finally got through the entire thing today, and let me tell ya... Wave 3 of those Octolings at the end are BRUTAL!!!

    It took me around 3 hours across two sittings, but man it took all of my energy to make progress in that hell. I didn't find the last section as bad the others weirdly, but I think I just enjoyed having an actual battle for once instead of the dumb puzzles

    Yeah, I rather enjoyed the 3rd part with the soaker boxes, and the battles. But fuck the first part, and fuck that ballon rails bullshit. :rolleyes:

    I wonder when Foridians are going to wisen up and realize that:

    • Florida is a shithole to live in, period.
    • Florida will always be a target of bad hurricanes
    • Florida should be strengthening their buildings, homes, and power infrastructure against this never ending barrage of hurricanes

    Even when it comes to "wisening up", most people are stuck where they are because of their jobs, way of life, their family, etc. Getting TX, LA, and FL to all ditch their coastal regions would be crazy, but not only that, New York is a big hurricane target, too. Needless to say, we're all doomed to suffer endlessly.

    @AkiraKurusu They kept delaying the release date over and over, until they just set it to TBD on the store page, and then years of radio silence with no updates or anything. Then I hop on the Discord and ask when it's coming out, and they mute me for 7 days... Like, fine.. Fuck you guys. Now that the game's out, I'mma pirate that shit. Fuckers aren't getting a damn penny from me.

    Not having a release date is perfectly expectable, especially considering one of the fundamental things of products is "good games rarely come on a timer". Remember Miyamoto's quote? How about "Dont ask for a release date"? Furthermore, a mute isnt an excuse to steal from an indie team.

    Just beat Splatoon 3's Hero Mode.

    Good plot twists, amazing story to actually give a shit about, and one hell of a challenging and fantastic final boss fight!

    My gf Evelyn and I had to make the most difficult decision in our lives today, as Pepé has now crossed over the rainbow bridge.

    We have him the best life we could, and he knew he was loved up until the very end. He touched lives all over the world, and made friends everywhere he went.

    Repaired a GBA SP board (AGS-001) by finding the troublesome solder splash that dropped off my iron, and cleaned it up. It was causing the Gameboy to shut off whenever the (A) button would get pressed. Removed the excess solder globs and it works fine again!

    Interesting suggestion. It might be enough to put the critical parts in a tiny faraday cage. If the shielding is not sealed it bounces around and get out eventuelly. This might diffuse the waves but for true containment it would be necessary to have a fully closed cage/shield.

    Prototyping a bracket for the TP4056. Not sure why the TP4056 wasn't incorporated 8nto the shell design by default, so I have to make this bracket.

    I have to adjust the hole on v3, arrowed in red.
