Hacking Help updating a physical game

So I have the latest version of luma3ds and I want to update my physical copy of Pokemon sun but I am region locked out of the Nintendo eShop, is there a way to get update the game without eShop?

You'd need to find it on the internet (don't ask where, as it's against the rules) and install it with FBI. Google is your best friend. ;)

I am not sure about it, but till I know pokemon is region free, and not like the others with region lock, Like the example in product code E means America, P means Europe and J japan, but most pokemon games have A in product code, Did you try uptate by eshop at least?
