Hi guys!

So i got my self a SEGA MD2, model MK-1631-50, the one with the red buttons.
So everything workd fine except im confuse about 2 things since i never had a console...
well, about one thing actually.

Is it normal for a SMD2 to be warm when working, on top, near the left side of cartridge?

As for my actual problem... The sega works ok, except the picture if not so stable. I dont believe its games or cable, but
the sega is glitching, like its flashing for a moment than normal, than ghost of a double image shows up and flashes and go away, and it does that at random every...well...3 to 5 secundes.
Other than than picture seems pretty stable. Actually top portion of picture, about 1\8 of top picture if non stop going left and right every secunde, just that dop portion, its slight but its noticable.

What can i do to fix this?

Thanks!

The AV cable of the MD2 (specially the console side plug) in known to be picky.
Something you can try fo rnow : Pour the plug into alcohol (If you don't have isopropyl alcohol, you can still use medical acohol). Pour only the lengh of the pins) and push in /pull out the plug a few times inside the console plug so you can clean a bit the contacts.
