Looks good, my problem with this game VS is that it could end up taking forever locked in a stalemate. I just flooded the map with troopers and my friend’s tanks physically couldn’t reach the bases hahaha.

If this sells well we might have a chance at a new entry. Buyyyyyy this.

Dual strike would have been great too but since it fully took advantage of the double screen feature it would have been tougher to port.

Advance Wars remains high on my favourite GBA list mainly because of the nostalgia. Not too keen on the art style and the animation on the characters' portrait art. Makes me wonder if this reboot was outsourced to a different company or if Intelligent System just assigned it to a new group.

Either way, I'll still buy it and hope for a new entry in Advance Wars.

I agree about the style. The original had great pixel art and this is just 2018 chibi mobile game aesthetic. It seems like they've now fully embraced that as a company - they've become one with the shovelware.

This is a day 1 purchase for me, especially for the vote w/ my wallet. I know many won't agree but I find the cartoon art (style) looks remarkably like that of Wargroove. Almost as though they were involved with the reimagining. I wonder how many of my original guides will be usable, regarding the maps, prolly not munch. A make-your-own map section would be nice too though.

Even theA.W. Black Hole 2 had the ability to create/share maps..

It's clear why Nintendo are so aggressive against rom sites, they plan to continue releasing 30 year old games, over the next century.

In their defence, their old games are very good, but upscaling a rom, then charging full rrp, is very rich. Much so when you do it hundreds of times.

This is a full on remake though.

I know a lot of folks on GAF are complaining about the graphics, and also complaining about Mercury Steam doing Metroid Dread, but I'm personally super excited for both games. This is all I needed to be more than satisfied with E3. Maybe I'm a cheap date, but whatever. ^_^
