I don't really get it...
since i'm not confident DSlazy cwill produce a good rom, has anyone figured out if there is an alternate method as easy as hex editing a JP to EN in the file?

There is a patched rom elsewhere (don't bloody ask me for it), it just does the menus. Very fun game from what I've played, I wish there was online though. No knowledge of Japanese needed really and if you are that picky well its out in the US in 9 days so just wait.
I hope this game is at the least decent to keep me occupied.. but im really looking forward to track & field ds when it comes to this genre. Developer even said they were including wifi up to 4 players
Well it's sloppy.. but I managed to change the game instructions along with other stuff by just removing the japanese code so the english code replaces it. But it does the trick for now for stuff that didn't work by just replacing it with the eng folder

i tried the game & i must say it's really really good can't wait to try it in multiplayer also i must add that the graphics are somehow amazing for a DS game.

Nah, it's pretty easy. If you unpack it with dslazy then go to the font folder. Then open each of them in a hexeditor and remove the japanese part so the eng is prioritized. If you want a laugh open the file in DSlazy go to the file data\data\etc\err_name_utf.txt open it to find all the word they dont like you putting in as a name..... "assphuka" "bitchphuqr" "orgasmo" "pork" "pussyfuqer" "sodomizar" and for some strange reason "tuna" ......... its a really really big list...

Wow, man...I'm so, so surprised by some of the reponses I'm seeing, especially those willing to go through so much effort to play this game in English. I wasn't really looking forward the game; it's more one of those that I know I'll try but didn't have high hopes for. But I guess for a diehard Mario and / or Sonic fan, this game must have a lot of promise. However, I can, most certainly, wait for the English version.
and for some strange reason "tuna" ......... its a really really big list...
