The tickets that are installed are in the System Partition which you overrode when replacing that NAND file. You would need to reinstall all the games again. As for game saves they are probably gone as they are in that first NAND backup file that you replaced. Also I am willing to bet that you are now an older system software version now and not 10.2.0.

Game saves are not stored on the SD card, they are stored in the NAND.

From now on please backup the emuNAND before any system update.

It does that to try to prevent problems but it only touches the Nintendo (or for emuNAND, Emunendo) folder. Anything outside those it doesn't touch. It also doesn't touch user content like screenshots.

Too much BS on the first page for me to bother trying to read the rest.

Choosing exFAT does not mean that you *must use exfat. It just ads the driver. I still use fat32 and always install exFAT. Why? Because it would have been installed anyway in OFW with a real update. If you don't understand that, you're not worth my time to try and help.

There are many reasons to not boot properly. Most of them in atmosphere/contents or sxos/titles. Themes will do it (remove the 0100000000001000 folder if it exists on your card). Things with a boot2.flag will do it. If you ONLY use sxos, then this is irrelevant, but some people have trouble booting with a game cart inserted, if nogc is enabled.

Finally, if OFW boots fine (try WITHOUT an SD card, even), then your emmc is not messed up. Don't start flashing the firmware like that if it's not actually broken.

He was updating emuNAND not sysNAND. I've always had issues booting SX OS with an exFAT formatted SD card as something tx did broke it. Never had that issue with FAT32.

Yea, SX doesn't like exFAT. But It seemed he was stuck worrying about which selection he made in Choi. IMHO, that option shouldn't even be an option.

I fully agree with that as there is no difference.

SX OS used to work just fine with exFAT but one of the updates they pushed broke it. I prefer exFAT as I always had issues installing split NSP files regardless of the installer I used. Also always had issues getting full backups installed over FTP/HDD.

I never had issues installing updates offline. It's the only option for CFW users as Nintendo will ban the system if you try online in CFW. Then you can never update online either in OFW or CFW.

type-c + micro usb + sd card reader.

three in one is your option.

so you wont need split nsp

256gb in switch + 256gb sd card via type-c charge port

is there something i missing?

sx os boot.dat 3.0.5 and 3.1.0 already put in sd card root
How long did you wait for it to boot? After FW update it could take verey long time on 1st-2nd boot, especially long if you have emunand as files on SD card and your card is FAT32

split NSP files need to be named correctly, placed in a folder of the same name (minus the numbered extension), and set the archive bit on the folder. After you've done it once, it's no hassle. and afaik all installers support them. You can also use tinfoil with nut, and not have to bother splitting files.

The point is, after a FW update, you should wait at least 10 mins before shutdown your console and thinking it's a brick

I could never get nut to work. Not sure what I am doing wrong. For split NSPs, every installer I used would see the game but would give me an error when trying to install it.

When using FAT32 SX OS always booted quick after an update. Never had to wait more than a minute or two.

But exFAT can corrupt your SD card which can prevent you from booting up making you think its a brick when that is actually not the case.
