Gaming Net play is maybe becoming free

now I might get a series X over this+ Fable I might be sold a few months after launch if this is true (a few system bugs are bound to exist at launch) heck if you can install windows on it I might put my HP Z400 up for sale
yeah honestly sidebooting windows would instantly wipe out 30-50% of gaming pcs out there in favor of a xbox that's how they would win the generation
Nice if it does. With Microsoft pushing xbox stuff hard on pc, it's just going to get harder to justify the charge. Buy a game that is play anywhere, play online on pc=free, play on your xbox=$$$. At this point it's just we are charging you on Xbox because we can.

Ahh, free net play. It’ll be like the good old ps2 days. Not many cheaters and glitches as there were with the xbox360.
Most people didnt experience net play on PS2.
Didn't experience netplay on ps2 but PS3 was awesome. First Dark Souls experience running bosses with other players, hooking up a keyboard to type messages faster, etc. Did experience some GTA 5 hackers but most of them just gave me a ton of money so I didn't complain. One did add a ton of things on my screen and crashed my ps3 but that only happened once.
I really hope Xbox live will be free. Not that i'm getting an xbox but it would remind people that it's not necessary to pay to use your own internet connection (that you are already paying for)! Imagine if Steam required a yearly payment to use cloud saves and multiplayer online. They are taking the same % as every console company yet don't require payment. Corporate greed is the issue here.

So uhhhh where is the free online like everyone said was coming?... would be a pretty good time to release it considering how much people are talking about the PS5 now.
Whoever suggested that must've been trolling as it's literally the opposite of what MS are trying to achieve. Their main goal is almost definitely a subscription based model where they get a perpetual monthly fee and provide the games and console as part of the service.
Good news everyone, Live is not becoming free. It is getting pricier to keep the poors out.

There was a comparison of the number of Ibuprofen poisonings before and after they limited the maximum dosage per box or per pill (i'll look that up). No limit on the number of boxes you can still buy as many as you want, so people argued it was pointless.

Here we have ketoprofen that used to be prescription-only because of the risk of toxic dosages, but then they halved the dose per pill and sell them in bottles of six pills apiece instead of twenty and it doesn't need a prescription any more. Yes you can buy more than one bottle but people simply don't.
