Someone told me that if I have auto rcm off the switch actually turns off once it reaches 10% while in sleep mode. Seemed weird, and just wanted to confirm this

did you read that in a thread? cuz I read the same thing. I know very little about switch hacking, but I remember that. I can't confirm it though.
It's not sxos feature, but the original os, horizon's feature. And the auto shut off will only kick in while in sleep mode. Sxos or any cfw won't disable what Horizon can do. Just that with auto rcm enable, it will be of no use since it will still drain the battery.

Or, I also heard that if you use flash memory, it can act as more "RAM" at least windows tell me when I stick a flash drive into it. -
