I dont like to marrying them. I like to have them to be separate files.. A great way to collected them.
Technically it is seperate fpkg files, it is just re-marrying the update file with your game fpkg allowing you to install it with your current fpkg instead of original owner copy.
I know it's been a long while since these messages were posted here, but I've come up with an explanation for The Last of Us update not re-marrying!
The game file is not corrupted, the update file is not corrupted. There is something else...
When you check the CUSA00556 game file with orbis-pub-chk, the application type is listed as Freemium App. However, 1.09 update file is listed as Paid Standalone Full App. Therefore, the re-marrying wouldn't succeed.
So, what you need to do is find the game file with "Paid Standalone Full App" properties.
For other games which fail without any error codes (only with "Issue Creating Final Pkg" in the log), check the game's properties (Application Type) with orbis-pub-chk.
I always get this error. First the duxa packager application says ''Not Responding'' and then after awhile I get ERROR5. I tried running the program as admin but it still wont work. Can anyone help?

How can I fix the issue and get it working?it's either the file name or the name generated by the PARAM.SFO that's throwing off gengp4. it will not work with exotic characters. the name above shows exotic characters.
How can I fix the issue and get it working?
Here are the file names:
Game - EP0006-CUSA05986_00-NFS1800000000001-A0100-V0100.pkg
Update - EP0006-CUSA05986_00-NFS1800000000001-A0110-V0100.pkg
Thanks for the help, I will give it a try.try extracting the pkg with pkg viewer, editing the param.sfo with its editor, then repacking. you can test with gengp4 while doing this too. the file names look fine. exotic characters are the reason I got an error with ace combat 7 while backporting. the file name had the trademark symbol. whoever put that in there or left it in was an idiot. btw, with pkg viewer you can see what the game's name is to see if it's actually using those characters. afaik, orbis doesn't care but gengp4 does.
