Hi All,

Booting all good into CFW, however when I run HB Menu or any app from there, my left joycon simply does not work and it only works when I take it out the switch. Does anyone know why this would be happening?

The L Joycon works perfectly in the Switch Menu etc, it's only when I am CFW related apps.

thanks for saying it was the foil, as as soon as I removed that the left joycon starting working in CFW. Strange!

I think I will just invest in a RCM Jig, but thank god for sleep mode, makes it so much easier.

Tin foil is covering some pins and the switch is charging it but it's connected wirelessly instead of wired like the left Joycon, for homebrew it needs both controllers to be connected wirelessly or wired

I've just spent days trying to figure out why did my right joy-con stop working detached, (flight mode is off) works fine in OFW but stops when in cfw, joy cons works attached, in both cfw and OFW. To fix this, do the following, remove all paired controllers.
  1. Select System Settings from the Switch's Home screen.
  2. Select Controllers and Sensors from the menu.
  3. Select Disconnect Controllers. ...
  4. Attach a pair of Joy-Cons to the Switch console and hold the X button on the right Joy-Con until the controllers are disconnected.
