Hey guys. I seem to have been running into a few issues, and I hope you can help me out here.

I've just updated my Switch from 8.0.1 to 9.2.0, and updated AMS to 0.12.0. I throw in a game card, and I get the error:
"The game card could not be read. Please remove and reinsert it."

I know about OFW 9.0.0+ burning some type of fuse in the card reader. In Hekate v5.2.1, under Options, there is the Auto NoGC set to ON. If I understand correctly, this will have to be set to OFF for the game cart to work. I set it to OFF, click on Home, Hekate detected I changed my configuration and asks if I want to save it, so I choose "Save". Hekate tells me the configure was safed to my sd card, so I click on "Launch" and choose "Atmosphere CFW". The Switch reboots, brings me into the CFW no problem, but the Switch still can't read the game card.

Am I missing a step? I appreciate any help. Thank you.

What does your launch configuration for "Atmosphere CFW" look like? Does it just chainload fusee_primary or are you using the fss0 method?

I'm guessing it just chainload fusee_primary. I don't know what the fss0 method is. Either way, today, I've restored to my original NAND that I backed up back in 2018, and making an emuNAND.

I think what the problem is that there are fuses that haven't been burnt in the card reader. I'm trying to read Pokemon Shield cart, so I can strip it down and install it digitally, or just read from the cart itself, but I think at 9.2.0 and higher, fuses need to be burned in order to read from the cart. Is there any way around this, or just go ahead and burn the fuses?

If the cartridge needs firmware 9.X, then you have to burn the cartridge fuse.

I rather enjoy a life of taking it easy. I haven't reached that life yet though.
