Hey everyone

I'd been happily using my self-CFW PSVTV for a while now, completed Adventures of Mana and Secret of Mana (remake, I know I know..)

Today I went to move on to another game (PSP eboot) and it froze up, when it rebooted, EVERYTHING was missing, all the games (shortcuts for PSP) etc :(

I've managed to get it back to loading CFW and VitaShell 2.02 using MLTHaKu (amazing btw), but whenever I try to mount any USB it shows an error 0x80010016, even with a newly-formatted (blank) USB (also tried MBR/GPT no avail), so I'm thinking USB is now out of the question, which I've accepted with a heavy heart (no drama, honest!)

I have an SD2Vita that I used to get myself back up and into VitaShell, so my primary question would be which files/folders can I copy/merge from the USB to the SD that would mean I don't have to go through the pain of re-installing apps, shortcuts etc? And if there is any chance at all of getting (somewhere near) back to where I was before it all fell over.

I've searched to see if this has had a post, and whilst I saw one elsewhere (which got me up and running again in part), it never detailed getting apps back. Maybe my google-fu isn't great and it's detailed already, if so I apologise.

Thanks, stay safe, and keep up the amazing work! :)

I'm pretty sure that USB and SD2VITA are practically the same thing, albeit different formats.

I recommend backing up the USB first, then copying over ALL files (including `id.dat`!) from the usb to the sd card.

I'm not entirely sure what storage plugin you have, but make sure whatever the usb was mounted to (ux0, etc) is the same as the sd card (probably uma0).

If you can get a PC to read your USB drive and the data is still there, open My Computer, right click on the drive (do NOT open it), and select copy. Paste it somewhere convenient.
That will get you every file on the drive, including pesky hidden ones that don't like to be copied.
If you just want your games back, you'd copy the app, addcontent, and license folders to your SD2Vita. Then, if you want your saves, copy over user/00/Savedata to ux0:user/00/savedata.

yes, I was using usb, and I switched to sd2vita by just copying over the files. you may have to use a different plugin, 'cause I was using usbmc. I'm using yamt lite now, which is very fast.
