Not all DLC can be copied to the game folder.All content need to be combined (and not replaced!) with the game files manually.
The basic principle example

FILE A
item=5
{23,67,68,32,7}

FILE B

item=4
{11,18,23,9}

FILE A+B (number <23> is common for 2 files)
item=8
{23,67,68,32,7,11,18,9}

Hope in the future Vitashell will have the opportunity to install decrypted DLC.

(example of that would be "FATE EXTELLA"'s DLC (haven't go to that)..............some games don't have existing folders the DLC makes a reference to for that...............anyway "Chaos Rings 3 Patch" asked for eboot.bin and decrypted after that..............Gundam Generation Genesis didn't identify External Data DLC, gave up on it) Everything Checks out so far!)

Without a another plugin.............should do another crash test for "the Lost Child", got up to 4-5 hours before error out, see what it does decrypted with none of the plugins added from OP, sometime in the future.

EDIT - Chaos 3 english translation

1. game decrypted, from "nopay", pcsg00457
2. repatch folder for chaos 3 decrypted files (just rename repatch folder to "PCSG00457_dec" and merge it, overwriting it

(the "patch" folder is not needed, was no official patch released, the DLC is the english translations for the other games omega, 1 and 2, DLC WILL NOT WORK, you do get the best one working Chaos 3 tested ............ depending on how you got it, or how its packed.............you only need the "repatch" folder from it, nothing else, and "nopay" for the game "PCSG00457")

one more thing, Fate Extella dlc's didn't work, with this decrypt method you don't have to worry about those sony updates crashing your games, its even worse on retail consoles


EDIT - Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax Ignition - DLC (snip) not working, translation otherwise works fine

use "nopay" for game and official update, decrypt both, merge both, and add/replace files from the patch in the game, (the DLC like chronovolt uses a simple file added an existing game folder)..............should work, unless it doesn't i'll add a note (not sure what dlc does, so may be at a loss there). (

Found a problem in the program Reader™[PCSC80012][JPN]
Reader™ doesn't work with update 01.62, but well works without update!!!
Not the console Vita gives an error but program Reader™

(same for chaos rings 3, and 1.03 update (errors out), but, been having trouble with that update and chaos rings 3 translation before that) (translation works without using the 1.03 update, fortunately)

(probably need custom fixes)

(using "antiblacklist 1.3" on pstv/vita, (the plugin "DolcePolce" claimed it would fix dlc/update problems or something, but everything is merged from this release, so no need for that anymore) (one less plugin)

Only Plugins I have now are "psvshell for overclocking", and "yamt_enso360" for the sdcard to use that. "repatch REMOVED", refood/0syscall6 REMOVED", "nonpdrm REMOVED ........... (those plugins possibly cause problems so goodbye to them, like "the lost child" or "darkest dungeon" or "salt and sanctuary" the list goes on (every game and translation with updated patch i tested so far worked great, can't think of anymore that have not)

Gained between 20 and 30 percent more free space on sdcard too!!!

(Siralim 2, without update boots fine decrypted, when updated, added fails to launch)

There's another thread claiming some vita's also don't save the color range setting from option (pstv or vita, which doesn't have the option), "auto/limited/full" .............. so the vita may not use the setting unless set from registry.

versus using "LowMemMode1.2", to solve "autoupdate" or the vita's issue with those registry settings...........which i don't use lowmemmode anymore.

The Lost Child 1.02 USA (didn't get past load screen with update) ................ Tested a bunch of games with updates and no issues. (had save data for this game before the decrypted version

Testing.....The Lost Child 1.02 Europe, and then without the Update (if there's a problem)

have games on the other pstv, guess i'll check the games with updates on them, will know if they freeze on boot, it was so much to do I just decrypted and installed them, then took a break.

The Lost Child 1.02 Europe Worked (usa froze at loading screen)

(i did test both version of siralim 2 and no work, but seems you did a update)

Played "the lost child 1.02 Europe" for more than 3 1/2 to 4 hours, (almost 6 hours before I went to bed, no crashes), decrypted and with:

RegistryEditor_1.3.vpk, go to CONFIG/NP2/AUTOUPDATE

Set all Values to 0 (ZERO) (press x and write 0)

....Originally, "the Lost Child" would crash showing a Trophy popup and then an error after about 3 1/2 to 4 hours of play, or it would crash in about 2 to 5 minutes around that time after failing to load graphics fully..............one explanation was that some games "updates" were not registering on the pstv, (that was actually a common crash listed as fixed on one of the game updates itself)...............and "DolcePolce", which is a "whitelist fix" should fix it and it didn't, the issue of certain game updates not registering...................not just this game, however, this was the only game that would crash like that i've played both on retail vita, and on modded vita (pstv).................guess its now fixed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I did play from the beginning, going though the loading screens as much as possible, only plugins i have are (used antiblacklist, though not needed), ofcoures henkaku stuff there for the hack and "psvshell1.1" (at max settings), "yamt_enso360" (sdcard loader, "yamt lite"), and sharpscale.

If your trouble shooting a game with exactly the same issue, i think "darkest dungeon was another one"

(THE LOST CHILD crashes in less then an hour now, after initial play of more than 5 hours decrypted, probably because of all disabled "auto update features" from registry we detailed...........actually this is the first really badly programmed game on the vita i've seen...........there was another less troublesome game, "Day D Tower Rush" ................ people reported "darkest dungeon" but i've had no problems with)

DELETED THE LOST CHILD (once again)

Re-Tested these games, probably worked fine before, but, were unplayable due to FPS, without overclocking and decryption:

Senran Kagura Shinovi Verus
and
Senran Kagura Estival Versus


These freeze during the boot logos/sequence, even with the new update:

Royal Defense 1 and 2
Iron Sea Defenders

(Day D Tower Rush, would crash frequently with a lot on screen, all of these are probably skippable, seems just badly published, like "The Lost Child"...............I realized now, "Dragon Fantasy" was a total rip of "Siralim", with its preference for recycled graphics, and monster catching. Which in dragon fantasy, i just spammed level grinding and ran across the map to the last boss, missing requirements to beat it but.............)

(some of those or all of the above, especially the ones identified with problems, if not all of them, originated from "steam"'s website, with "The Lost Child" as a possible "nintendo switch port", which explains the bad programming, bad ports, or platform hits, to discredit the performance of the console)

Download any PS Vita game to your PC via NPS Browser. It is automatically unpacked (if pkg2zip is connected) and a folder with the name TitleID and game content inside appears. This is a nonpdrm format.

<Decryption of the game>
We grab the folder with the name TITLEID located in the APP folder with the mouse and throw it on _decrypt.exe and wait for the process to finish. A folder with the name TITLEID_dec will appear. Rename it to TITLEID_app.This is the pure content of the game from the developer. For its operation, the console does not require plug-ins (nonpdrm, refood, rePatch).

<Decryption of the patch>
First you need to take work.bin from the game along the path app / TITLEID / sce_sys / package / and copy it to the patch folder at patch / TITLEID / sce_sys / package / and then grab it with your mouse and throw on _decrypt.exe and wait for the process to complete. A folder named TITLEID_dec will appear. Rename to TITLEID_patch

<DLC Decryption>
We grab the folder with the name DLCID that is on the path addcont / TITLEID / DLCID with the mouse and throw it at _decrypt.exe and wait for the process to finish. A folder with the name DLCID_dec will appear.

<Bonding GAME + PATCH + REPATCH into one folder>
The contents of the TITLEID_patch folder can be copied to the TITLEID_app game folder by agreeing to a replacement. As a result, we get one folder with the game and the patch. If the game has a translation or modification, then the contents of the rePatch folder are also copied with a replacement.

<Quick on console installation>
Copy the folder through Vitashell to the console. Select this folder, click the triangle, go down to More ---> Install Folder. We are waiting for a few seconds to go out and start the game.

If I want to update the translation repatch file, do I need to do it from the beginning? Or I can just copy the repatch file to the installed folder? Thank you.

Can this decrypt .pkg updates downloaded straight off PSN? If yes, how do I do that? Just drag it to the .exe?

Okay, so it doesn't decrypt .pkg patch file.

I've unpacked the .pkg with pkg2zip and copied "work.bin" from the NoNpDRM game folder. Dragged the patch folder to _decrypt.exe and process is finished (Process completed!! Press ENTER key...), but no dec folder is created? What did I do wrong?
