Thank you in advance for anyone who could possible help. Recently i began modding my Wii and tonight i came across a tutorial on Wii flow. And for the first ten minutes or so im in lock step with the guy who made the video and im jamming along and thinking man i got this. Uhh no i dont. Because at about 11 minutes into the video he jumped into left field and started talking about and doing things he had not previously mentioned.Like opening dol files with a note pad and altering them plus referencing folders he had made before the video started. I mean basically i was able to get the Wii flow installed and its working great. Where he lost me was how you create a Rom folder for each channel, where to place it and what to name it. I have several rom for Nes,GC,Wii ect im just totally lost on the folder setup and where to place them and i couldnt find any other You Tube video that specifically addressed this issue. Thank you in advance for anyone who could please help me.

Hello, Sorry seemed so quick, I tried covering everything I could in a span of an hour. However I am hoping you are using my thread as reference, and downloading all necessary files. Any questions you may have, please ask away on here, this thread, or another.

Hello i have another thread i posted a day or so i dont know how fimiliar you might be with this but if you have a moment maybe you could take a peek at it. Thanks. P.s I would have posted the link but as a new user it looks as though im not allowed.

HI ive been modding my Wii for about the last week and when i was downloading both WII and Game Cube games i had no idea what a nightmare the dreaded NKIT format would be. Well it was only after downloading about 12 games for the game cube and 10 games for the Wii that i realized what a problem this would be later when it came to attempting to convert them in Wii back up manager. ON a side note the Wii back up manager also seams to have a certain adversion for anything in the disk image format either. I could be wrong but what ive grown to understand from countless hours of reading is that an NKIT file is simply a ISO file that has been compressed to save space.
Because the ultimate goal of course is to get these files in a WBFS format so that they play on USB Loader GX. I cant began to tell you how many different programs useless programs ive downloaded in the last week attempting in vain to restore these files back to true ISos. OSF Mount,WiiBaFu, IMG to ISO & several others. And omg yes lol ive downloaded and tried several times what seams like every ones favorite to suggest NKIT. Now alot of these programs as you know will simply error when you try to mount the NKIT or Disk image file.
However what ive found is that the other half will claim to have converted the file back to its true ISO state and you click on properties looks good says ISO however when you attempt to mount it in Wii backup manager it will either one not mount it or two more common it will say a 1.5gb file is 2mbs..UGGGG. So i dont really have the time patience or hours any more to download countless programs that dont work so i thought i would try here. So please has anyone cracked the NKIT/Disk image riddle that is blocking these files from being converted by Wii back up manager.

hmmmm..... Now I have not done much troubleshooting with that because I only have had ISOS, but I know that there is a decompressing program...... maybe try it out with 7zip or winrar? But if it has to decompress and create a new image, then id try this, click on the link that is provided by xprism1 https://www.reddit.com/r/WiiHacks/comments/dv0gsg/how_to_change_format_nkit_to_iso/ Its a direct link and there are instructions, and people have had success with it. I know the xprism1 is has a high reputation or reddit. let me know if it helps!
