Shuffling my desktop wallpaper based on the time of day, is this possible?

So, I was thinking about having a bunch of desktop wallpapers shuffling around, but there's a catch that stop me from using just Windows 10's built-in tools.
I want to have two sets of wallpapers, a lighter and a darker set, and I want to only have the light wallpapers in daytime and the dark ones in nighttime.
Is this possible to do somehow?

You could use wallpaper engine and the playlist feature they have.

It's DRM free so you can launch it before you open steam (on startup)
and it's worth every penny I promise (also workshop support)

Yeah, but to access that you have to go out of your way. They're pretty good about cutting out the nsfw stuff unless you enable the tags

Do you actually see wallpapers often enough to worry?

Anyway you could also look inwards. Windows will have a scheduled tasks option. With that I am sure you could generate a command* to fire at logon and at a preset time to change the wallpaper to something else, or perhaps do windows' own theme settings but have one be the dark set and the other the light and still make use of the all the rest.

I remember doing this over a decade ago with Ubuntu and GNOME2. One could generate an XML file with hard paths to image files and latitudal and longitudal information in order to determine where the sun would be and at what time, cycling through the images depending on this information. Then, one just sets the XML file as their wallpaper, and ta-da. I always wondered why this wasn't a thing on Windows.
