Well...the title mostly says it. But I'll give some more information...
With my girlfriend, we've moved houses, and we're in the process of renovating the new house. Unfortunately, this is a very slow process (we've been at it since april!). Our priority is on the kitchen, living room and bathroom. So my own desk and desktop computer are...probably half a year or more away from me (note: with any luck, we're able to put the television in its definitive state next week, and as such my favorite wiiu console). So I do my gaming mostly on mobile platforms (nvidia shield and gpd xd+). But I have a laptop as well. And 1000+ steam games (heck...I'm probably hitting 100+ unclaimed games since buying some humble bundles
)...that I can't play in ideal cases.
Why? Because my decent gamepads are still in a box somewhere, a mouse isn't convenient when sitting on the couch (I use the trackpad), music isn't much of an option as my girlfriend's watching television 24/7 (gotta love pregnancy ;-) ) and the laptop is...while it's a decent laptop for work, it's all but optimized for gaming. Luckily, my taste is more in indie games that AAA games.
...which brings me back to my main question. I can download and play most if not all games, but I tire of them faster because I can't play them in proper circumstances.
So my question: what games would you recommend that fit all following criteria:
* desktop PC games (windows)
* doesn't use the mouse (aside perhaps some menu operations)
* not graphically intense
* not overly reliant on sounds/music (so no rhythm games)
* single player (forgot to mention: I'm on wifi...it's decent for video streaming, but barely)
* (preferably) available on my steam page (I've got more on GoG and most free games from epic)
Of course I've got some games to give examples:
-element4l (a 'racing' platformer using only 4 buttons)
-epistory (a typing game...I'm good at fast typing, and can enjoy these as well)
-cook, serve, delicious 1&2 (some of my favorite games)
-the messenger (pretty decent, but the controls without gamepad suck)
-celeste (awesome game...but TBH it has the same issue as the above)
-another perspective (awesome puzzle game...but I've already played through it twice)
Granted: this is pretty much a luxury problem. These are games I like and know work...but rather won't play because I've already played them extensively.
Hence this thread. Any games I might have missed? Racing games that don't push the hardware limits? Zelda clones on PC? Or some puzzler that's flying under my radar?
