Honestly I'm good in Canada, but if I could I would be in a different province. The mentality of people living in Québec is a turn off.
I do have to wonder how accurate such stats are (reporting levels, sampling style and extrapolation methods all being somewhat suspect, if not outright agenda driven, for some of the rape stats in other fields I have looked into and many of the same people appear to be doing stuff in these circles if I do a casual search), to say nothing of what goes by state (there are rather large differences between states/regions -- deep in the heart of rural Appalachia might as well be a whole other world compared to suburban coastal cities, which themselves are all rather different for the ones I have been to), and if they are of the same school of thought that leads people to believe it is an unending firefight or that one risks getting shot just popping out for milk and cereal, to say nothing of what kind of accuracy of reporting there exists elsewhere in the world.I would rather go to somewhere like Iraq or Syria than America as there would be less of a chance of me being raped or murdered due to being transgender.
Lets not forget the facts that America has a higher rape rate of trans women than any other country in the world. 48% of American trans women will be raped at some point in their life. And it also has one of the highest murder rates of trans Women. And also sorry I said in my first post I didn't need to explain why then I have just over ruled myself in my next post lol.
The figures were gathered by the Scottish Parliament working in conjunction with a group I am part of called the Trans Scotland Alliance. And was done by contacting various governments and police forces and other trans groups around the world.I do have to wonder how accurate such stats are (reporting levels, sampling style and extrapolation methods all being somewhat suspect, if not outright agenda driven, for some of the rape stats in other fields I have looked into and many of the same people appear to be doing stuff in these circles if I do a casual search), to say nothing of what goes by state (there are rather large differences between states/regions -- deep in the heart of rural Appalachia might as well be a whole other world compared to suburban coastal cities, which themselves are all rather different for the ones I have been to), and if they are of the same school of thought that leads people to believe it is an unending firefight or that one risks getting shot just popping out for milk and cereal, to say nothing of what kind of accuracy of reporting there exists elsewhere in the world.
