I would rather go to somewhere like Iraq or Syria than America as there would be less of a chance of me being raped or murdered due to being transgender.

Lets not forget the facts that America has a higher rape rate of trans women than any other country in the world. 48% of American trans women will be raped at some point in their life. And it also has one of the highest murder rates of trans Women. And also sorry I said in my first post I didn't need to explain why then I have just over ruled myself in my next post lol.
I do have to wonder how accurate such stats are (reporting levels, sampling style and extrapolation methods all being somewhat suspect, if not outright agenda driven, for some of the rape stats in other fields I have looked into and many of the same people appear to be doing stuff in these circles if I do a casual search), to say nothing of what goes by state (there are rather large differences between states/regions -- deep in the heart of rural Appalachia might as well be a whole other world compared to suburban coastal cities, which themselves are all rather different for the ones I have been to), and if they are of the same school of thought that leads people to believe it is an unending firefight or that one risks getting shot just popping out for milk and cereal, to say nothing of what kind of accuracy of reporting there exists elsewhere in the world.

Japan, plan on going there anyway and starting a new life there in the next couple of years. Taking a couple of trips before I stay to get over the culture shock and make some connections with some of the people there so my transition is as smooth as possible.

I need to update my linkedin page with my updated resume especially since it has changed from one page to four pages and make some business cards with a link to my linkedin page which will have my american resume and I'll make a translated version of it.

The figures were gathered by the Scottish Parliament working in conjunction with a group I am part of called the Trans Scotland Alliance. And was done by contacting various governments and police forces and other trans groups around the world.
I will say you do raise a valid point about some countries perhaps covering up the figures that were made available but it doesn't cover for the fact that the figures in America are worryingly high at the moment. Somewhat caused by both political movements over there i believe.

I think I'd restart in Canada, I went there as a child, and it was rather nice from what I remember. from what I've seen it's sort of like the state of Washington but bigger, pretty much trees and trees with cities here n there. Personally love that type environment, but I have to wonder if everyone is nice like America thinks, or even compared to other countries.

Second I think would maybe either be Japan or New York, that fast paced life yo, if I didn't have constant anxiety I think I would be fine being clumped with a bunch of people.
