yeah, i followed from page 1, my lil bro dsi (not XL, idk if yours is XL or not) ... has the same problem, the screen is just black, no led, but when the charger is connected, it just turn orange, but it still wont work, waiting for hours it still orange like the battery is never charged, and till now, we have not yet uncover the DSi, since idk what should i do with themDo you know the problem

It could be something wrong with the motherboard or maybe just the battery
My DSi that's barely in one piece that I only use for parts does exactly the same thing (never turns on or anything but still charges) after the last time I opened it to take the touch screen from it but it turned on before that
I don't know what's causing it but maybe the power board ribbon cable that connects the power button is not connected properly?
Then you can take it to some repair shop if you want to try getting it repairedi even too afraid to uncover the DSi, it could be worse if i do mistake, i have trauma, since i have broken my own gbc because uncover it and try to solder it
