Hacking GUITAR HERO 5 - BLACK SCREEN

Help I have a backup of GH5 and I'm using GeckOS to boot it... it just freezes and turns into a black screen. I have 4.2U.

What apps do I need to run the game?

Something about ios232 and ios 37? I don't know.

You need to run it using Hermes' cIOS 222/223 using IOS37... so, Hermes v4 with 37 merged 38, or Hermes v5 with 37. Where you install it isn't important, most people install it to 223. Then use any loader which lets you pick the IOS and away you go.

Hey how do I do this exactly? I'm a major noob. Do I just go here http://filetrip.net/file.php?id=9681 install Hermes v5 and just run it on Homebrew Channel?

Use Hermes v4 and install cIOS223 using 38 merged with 37.

Same here, but with a detail

I always get load Guitar Hero 5 and Rock Band 2, but yesterday I get a black screen with Wiiflow (r42) and LoaderGX (r929) ...

I changed cIOS (222,223,249) , Error 002, Vidpatch ... notheng

Change the SD target, with an old LoaderGX and it works!!!

I had cIOS v5 222 (IOS38), 223 (IOS37), cIOSX r19 249 (IOS38)

Hi, i'm new here.

I was just wondering if someone could tell me how to make work Guitar Hero 5, Guitar Hero Greatest Hits, Band Hero... I use Configurable Usb Loader v56, Waninkoko cios38 rev17 , Hermes cios installer 222/223 v5, NTFS Hard Disk. I can't use DVDbackups because I have 4.2E firmware wii blach edition.
All other games (more than 20 titles including Rock Band series) work perfectly except for Medal of Honor 2 and Super Smash Bros Brawl. CFG usb loader is set to load 222-mload ios.

I also installed cios 251 using a WAD file because I heard about needing this cios in order to use Guitar Hero series. (I noticed that it's not possible to ios 251 in cfg usb loader settings, while i can select 222-mload. 223-mload, 224-mload, 250.

Thanks, I already have Run the cIOS222/223 Installer V5 with the HBC.
I installed the following IOSs with these bases:

* IOS222 with base IOS38
* IOS223 with base IOS37
* IOS224 with base IOS57
* IOS202 with base IOS60

As I said all games works perfectly exept
-All guitar hero series (including band and dj hero)
-Super Smash Bros. Brawl
-Medal of Honor Heroes 2

Should I try old version 4 of Hermes cIOS 222/223 instaler?

What about cIOS 251 I've read from another forum?
Does it really exist?! I've used a WAD file that installed cIOS 251.

Hermes v5 and, theoretically, Waninkoko's rev19 should all work.

Did you remember to change which IOS your loader is using? You'll need to actually pick IOS223.

I usually load configurable usb loader IOS 222-mload as suggested by many forums. Loading 222-mload let me play all games except for those I mentioned above.
Should I try to load IOS 223 or 223-mload?
I can't use USB loader GX because it seems to dislike my IOS (maybe Hermes V5 or Waninkoko cIOS38 rev 17.)

That's wrong USB LOADER GX is not able yet to manage GUITAR HERO 5 with HERMES V5 only.

You shall use HERMES V4 38 merged 37, launch USB LOADER GX from 249 and select 222 (or 223, I don't remember the correct one) to play GUITAR HERO 5.

I was looking at my SD to confirm that the USBLoaderGX that I have used to play RB2 and GH5 is r921

I had two SDs, one with Homebrew (and the last USBLOaderGX), another with DLC. But SD with DLC had USBLoaderGX rev 921

I had last cIOS in my Wii (v5 and rev19)

I'm looking credits up right corner ... USB Loader GX I read rev921 IOS222 Rev 65535
