So this is a text editor? hollow knight's save file is literally just json.

yeah. its like 4 lines of code. I was hoping when I chose these two games they wouldn't just be plaintext but they are, no challenge. I am doing Axiom Verge next, I hope that is not the same.

I didn't make anything super cool but I thought I would share if any beginner programmers want to start making editors Ill send them my source and if anyone not suave on a computer wants to edit their save, they can easily.

Haha, actually this IS/WAS a text editor, I took an open source text editor, created a .bat file to shell WinSCP and shell the bat file from the apps/FTP to Switch button. took about an hour, but you're correct, a text editor.
