I've yet to see evidence that Ave is any more untrustworthy than any other developer in the scene.
To my knowledge she hasn't stolen or sold console data or made dubious statements involving closed source software she maintains (which is something other devs I do consider untrustworthy have done).

What data passes through the DNS? Info about what client is connecting to what server when, I guess that's about it. General network traffic doesn't pass through DNS servers.
Donation that guarantees your ban. But I'm sure most people here already know that.
And how are they gonna do that if you run it while offline?

Incognito to my knowledge does not steal certs (it's actually FOSS, even though I would seriously recommend people not to use it, in no small part because you really shouldn't be tampering with your NAND directly and instead wait for the PR to Atmosphere that will mitm the relevant parts of PRODINFO, which is safer since that does not directly modify the partition in question which would prevent you from bricking with it*).
The same however cannot be claimed with no guarantee from any of the dev in questions other work, as his other programs are closed source, therefore not making it possible to properly examine the source code.
*as someone who spends some time trying to help people -> incongito bricks do occur, specifically when trying to restore the prodinfo backup with it's build in restorer while running atmosphere.

the screenshot in page 2 ( cant post links because im a new member ) shows that we always tell people that doing this kind of stuff is very dangerous and their certs will most likely end up getting banned . maybe not today , maybe not tomorrow , but it can happen
there are tons of people who repair or have a second switch that they dont plan to use online , or they simply dont care about online because they dont want to pay and they can get all updates from our discord and hbgshop , so they prefer to help the entire community by donating the cert to us rather than letting it sit there , collecting dust
and no one is forcing anyone to send anything to us , everyone can still get everything for free without donating absolutely anything , the option to donate certs was for people that want to help us keep getting updates , thats it

please tell me more about our " iffy track record " and where did you heard that from ? we only got one cert banned so far and we have provided more than 400 updates for the entire community ( we are known for our reckless transparency , even if such levels of transparency put us at risk ) . 5 new updates uploaded just two hours ago . everything is available to anyone for free through hbgshop and our discord . it is also hard for me to take accusations of " iffyness records " from a moderator of a site thats known for doxing and sharing IPs from people they dislike ( ask Rei what happened when he had an internet fight with cosmos back then )

- You succesfully managed to alienate every other warez group in the scene over the course of a single day as well as seizing power in a manner that anyone who even has a sliver of human decency (and I'm looking at the barest, bottom of the barrel kind, not the usual kind I wish people had, but don't always do) would find disgusting.
- You have a habit of making random acccusations at people and banning them just for knowing other people (stellar moderation) and not selling out people they know of.
- You seem to have a rather weird belief that transparency == good. Transparency doesn't automatically make it good.

Not to be that guy but you know this is disingenuous. The app having issues restoring prodinfo is Atmosphere working as intended, NOT a bug with incognito. You should know this as someone who spends time helping people with Atmosphere issues. I've had no issues with restoring prodinfo on ReiNX, but don't have SX OS to test on so I can't speak for it working fine on that platform.

breaking news : we have multiple groups of people in charge of different things and they are the best in their fields
i am not in charge of updates , game dumping , distribution , making custom xcis or any of that , however i will defend them everywhere because they are part of a team that provides free content for everyone everyday

Oh yeah, I know that it's Atmosphere working as intended, I'm more noting that there is a significant risk of user error, which is excarbated by the fact that blawar notes that Atmosphere users should temporarily switch over to a CFW that doesn't properly protect PRODINFO when using it.

You were asking about why you had an iffy track record. I explained. That explanation didn't hold much to do with certificates.
You'll get certs banned because if your own certs didn't get banned, you wouldn't be asking for certs now would you.
There are alternative source for people to get their game/update/dlc so your post is bullshit, the general public that has a clean nand backup are gonna care about their cert, people gonna treat that their cert is $300 buck bud, so people like me rather spend 20 bucks and get a 1fichier account and download games/update/dlc, I have two units that I only use for backup/offline stuff and I will never donate my cert to HBG Shop.
