Have any modders ever considered making a raspberry pi based HDMI solution for the 3DS?
The only modding to the console itself needed would be a port that solders to the necessary points on the motherboard to grab the video and audio, then the raspberry pi could connect to the port and grab the video to convert to HDMI. Saves having to try and fit a whole conversion board into the 3DS shell.
I've also heard of USB mods having audio issues, so maybe the port could have a switch similar to the one in the GBA cartridge slot that switches between 3DS speakers and the port.
